About the Ball

This year marks the 450th anniversary of the Collegiate foundation by Elizabeth I of the post-monastic Westminster Abbey and School. To honour this special anniversary, a series of events and commemorative commissions have been planned which will give everyone close to Westminster the opportunity to celebrate their connection with the Abbey and School.

One of the most spectacular events of the anniversary year was The Elizabethan Ball which was held in the beautiful surroundings of the School and the Abbey.
