Neville Walton Award
In order to celebrate Neville Walton's (QS, 1966-71) involvement with the Elizabethan Club and his love of travel and foreign culture, the Club created this annual award in 2006. All OWW under the age of 25 at the time of application, and pupils in the Remove, can apply.
The value of the award is £1,000 per annum and it is allocated for travel with an emphasis on culture on the basis of the best application received by 1st May of each year. Each application will be reviewed by the Elizabethan Club Committee who will consider the cultural aspect of each trip, rather than pure travel, involved.
The annual winner will be notified by 1st June. The winner will be required to prepare and article about their trip (1,000-1,500 words) for publication in the Elizabethan Newsletter to be submitted within two months of return. Examples of previous winners’ articles may be found in past issues of the Elizabethan Newsletter here.
Applications (no more than 500 words) should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org before 1st May.
