American Friends of Westminster School
OWW in London enjoy many opportunities to meet up at events and participate in OW activities and we are working to replicate this across the Atlantic! The American Friends of Westminster School (AFWS) was founded to keep OWW, parents and past parents living in the US in touch with the School and each other and we are always looking to expand its activities. Benefits that US alumni can currently take advantage of include:
US taxpayers can now make tax-efficient gifts to Westminster School. The Westminster School Foundation US carries 501c3 status from the US Internal Revenue Services, meaning that we can accept donations from individuals and US charitable bodies, and that all qualifying donations made by US taxpayers will be treated as tax-deductible.
Local OW groups across the country
Local groups create a ready-made network to welcome OWW young and old as they begin a new life in the United States - please email email@example.com for further details.
Volunteers to assist with US university applications
Volunteers assist Westminster pupils with applications and enrolment at US universities and remain a point of contact during their studies. To volunteer or find a point of contact at a particular university please email firstname.lastname@example.org
In previous years an annual alumni reunion has been held each March in New York, but as more OWW move to different parts of the US we are looking to plan additional events in other cities. For more information or to offer feedback please email email@example.com

A-level, Pre-U and GCSE Results 2013
In a year when the percentage of top grades awarded fell nationally, the proportion of these grades achieved by Westminster pupils matched the consistently impressive statistics of recent years: at GCSE, 86.2% of all grades awarded were at A*, and 98.2% were at A* or A, at A-level, over 50% of grades were at A* or D1/D2 (Pre-U equivalent), and 88.5% were at A*/A (or equivalent) putting Westminster at the top of the league tables.
