Title Friends of Westminster School Art Tour: Sculpture at the V&A: Meaning, Materials and Place 10.30am
Details Starting with intricately carved ivory caskets, capitals from Cordoba, Romanesque doorways and wooden misericords, we will explore sculpture in the Medieval Rooms of this great museum. We will then peep into the Renaissance cast court before we explore sculpture by the neoclassical Italian master-Canova. The tour will end with the wonders of Rodin.

This tour will be guided by Dr Jacqueline Cockburn who is a free-lance lecturer working as a course director at the V&A and organising her own tours to European Cities with Art and Culture Andalucia. She was a Westminster School Parent and Head of Art History.

The event is £25 per person and the tour begins promptly at the stated times, please meet us at the main entrance on Cromwell Road 15 minutes before the tour starts.
